Tour Description
Today, we will pick you up at 7:30 am and we will drive about 1: 20 minutes to Palo Verde National Park, on the way, a reach wildlife will be seen, monkeys, birds etc, plus a lot of farms on the way give you an idea about the countryside life, as you get to see cows, horses and sugar plantations on the road.
Palo Verde National Park inreached by the second biggest river in Costa Rica, is an unique destination that you should not miss when in our country. If you love wildlife, you will love this protected area that con‐ serves a set of diverse habitats of plains or flat lands. It is delimited by rivers and a row of calcareous hills.
Among these are brackish and freshwater lagoons and swamps, mangroves, grasslands, squat forests of plains, mixed forests, riverside, wooded savannas, flooded forests and an always green vegetation.
It also has the highest concentration of waterfowl and waders, both native and migratory. It is said that this area is one of the best for bird watching in Central America.
Once we get to the Park, we can drink coffee and have some snacks before starting the tour.
Once we are ready, we launch ourselves in the great adventure that will take us close to animals like all size
crocodiles, white face & howler monekeys, bats, all kind of birds like turtles etc..
The tour in the river is for 1 hour and 20 minutes and this is a experience you will never forget.
